Hybrid Electric Cars
What is the main difference between gasoline and hybrid electric cars?
It is for the task. Once again, no stupid answers, please. I just want a straight answer.
A car has a gasoline internal combustion engine that provides power to drive the car. A hybrid electric has an electric motor that provides power to drive the car. This is powered by batteries recharged by a gasoline generator. Hence the called "hybrid". Also, when you slow down, the functions of the electric motor as a generator to help recharge the batteries. This is Unlike an electric car that plugs into an outlet to recharge.
