Am I the only one in the U.S. who think gas is expensive? (read more)?
Every day I see people moving more than 50 miles to work. I see them pulling fifth wheel F-350 and traveling in Yukons. These people chose to live that way. What gives them the right to complain about gas prices? It seems that high (er) gas prices are the best thing that has happened. People are driving less (less pollution, accidents), buying smaller cars and hybrids, therby encouraging innovation in technology and development of alternative fuels. I hope prices continue to rise. FYI people, I live in an apartment of 20'x15 'in the Colorado mountains and I can make an average income lower than my area … I live on my own.
I drive a car with I do not think a V8 gas is much, I still about 24-26mpg with a full size car. Gas is usually cheaper then milk and sometimes going over the price. Still does not bother me, I live close to work, nearly everything I need. If you have a car tomorrow that would only mean that up 10 minutes early in the morning to go to work.
