Hybrid Car Cons

Pros and cons of a hybrid car?
Pros: keeps you on the gas a little. Good for city driving Constant have to drive upwards of 150,000 miles to really get the money they supposedly "save". If you are driving a lot on the road makes no sense for the added cost of the hybrid option, since it is only effective during stop and go traffic in the city. Personally, I see no real point in the added cost. It takes a lot of driving to get the money. If you are interested in helping the environment, get yourself a cheap economy car, and drive only when necessary. Invest in a bicycle, and maybe even a pair of comfortable running / walking shoes. When is good in the summer, bike or walk to where it needs to go, instead of firing up the car to go 5 blocks street. This will not only help the environment, helps you stay in shape. So when you're going somewhere not too far, try walking or biking instead of driving. In this way you can save some money in cash rather than buy an expensive hybrid car.
