Electric Vehicle Racing
9.11 Can a Porsche AWAY an electric vehicle?

I'll let the 9-11 porsce an advance of 1 mile of a race of 5 miles and still earn EV heading.

Interesting theory, but there's really no way this could happen with the winner of EV. If it's a sprint, please Note: After a mile, the Porsche enough to be at full speed … and regardless of what 911 years is referring to (even a 1964 model), then goes running at a speed faster than any EV is now capable of doing. So while the EV is able to break the laws of physics and could accelerate 0-125 mph in 0 seconds, then would have to drive 5 miles faster than the Porsche took 4, despite traveling at a slower rate? Now if both were going from a standing start could be interesting given the torque curve of electric motors, but the race is not shown. The race has described EV leaves the finish some 30 seconds or less after the Porsche. Sorry. But what if it meant around a circuit? 5 Miles would be only 2 laps around Laguna Seca, and Porsche would not be able to reach full speed. But here, the problem is the weight … EVs have all those heavy batteries and tend to be pretty bad in the corners. The king of EVs here would be to Tesla, which has managed to barely nudge in the range of around 2 minutes. This is right on par with late 70's early 80's 911! So if you decide to compared to the exact model of 911, could turn faster … except, again, who made that comment very foolish to take a place miles – nearly a minute on the track. What means you have to return more than 30 seconds per lap faster in order to leave even after two rounds. Not a chance. Of course, you could do the reverse. More than 5 miles, giving the EV lead a mile, and taking a 911 Turbo or GT2? The Porsche easily blow past the EV at the end of the race. or around a circuit? Take a GT3RSR against the Tesla would be rolling in about 35 seconds per lap quicker, and that could easily come from more 1 mile. Electric motors show great promise for performance applications, but there are still major unresolved problems in computing the extent and weight that would hinder win any contest of this kind (and certianly not one that basically has given the race before the start … giving up a mile that would be hard to beat any car, much less a fast car performance). EDIT – in relation to the answer posted the video Wrightspeed. First, a quarter mile race from standstill is very different, and a contest that plays in the torque curve of an electric motor. If the race seen in the video was extended to a mile, would very Wrightspeed behind, because then the contest could expose one of the main limits of the visit of the current standard configuration. While interesting Wrightspeed (seems to use the same basic technology as the Tesla, except it uses an Ariel Atom for the chassis), the problem still exists that the car in the video is use a range of less than 25 miles when handled properly in the video … the expansion of that range would mean a lot more weight and the yield is much lower. So yes, you can go to custom make a prototype that offers great or even obscene levels of performance … Just as you can with a gasoline-powered car (or rocket car driven for that matter). And if you decide to compare any Custom Made purpose vehicle he was driving against any other vehicle designed for a wide range of uses (eg, a car streetable) in a contest that was custom designed and built another, why never be surprised at the result! Why Brawn does not compare the current F1 car against a Prius in a lap at Suzuka. Did you know that Brawn will win? Not surprisingly.
