If electric vehicles as the Volt from GM, are our future transportation. What happens to the lithium batteries in these monstrous when they have to be replaced? They are 100% recyclable? In 2006 were 250,851,833 registered vehicles in the U.S. If these were all electric vehicles, a huge pile of dead batteries!
