It is better than LPG CNG cost as operating a car?
Since gasoline prices are only rising, is there any alternative best for petrol cars?, is CNG / LPG a better alternative now, what are the advantages and disadvantages of using the current alternative fuel. and of course, fuel Whts future! cells (electrical fuel?)
In general, CNG is cheaper than gasoline per mile, and I think LPG is. If you are deciding between the two, the big question is who is more available in your area. In my area, each house has a natural gas line installed, and LPG can be purchased at most hardware stores and even some gas stations and grocery stores. If you opt for the CNG, I've seen a few companies selling a pump and tank system that connects the gas line at home and compressed natural gas to the pressures that can be used for CNG vehicles. If you travel a lot, LPG can be a batter option, because it is commercially available (to be filled on the way), but be a little more expensive. If you live in the country and have a tank propane instead of a gas line, the choice is much simpler, because the car can power it. With any fuel, you will see a bit of a power reduction compared to gasoline. If the engine is "optimized" for fuel (mostly only increase the compression ratio, because both the LPG and CNG have much higher octane rating than gasoline), we can expect the LPG vehicle to generate up to 90% of the power of gasoline. If the engine not optimized, search up to 80%. CNG will be slightly lower. If you want to convert the vehicle yourself, LPG is a safer option, because of pressures involved (LPG is stored in a few hundred psi, CNG is stored in a few thousand). Another benefit of the two fuels is that because they are cleaner and less caustic than gasoline, the engine usually last twice as long. As for other alternative fuel, electric cars are starting to come into your account. Several companies are making cars that can travel up to 300 miles on a single charge, but costs remain high due mainly to the types of batteries used. Contrary to what some want to believe, all innovations technological advances and gasoline engines, such as computer controls and fuel injection, catalytic converters and even, not make them so clean as alternative fuels such as LPG and CNG.
