The BMW H2R is the first race car to run on liquid hydrogen fuel. Over the past ten months has set 9 international speed records with its hydrogen combustion engine in France on the grounds Miramas. With double-VANOS and VALVETRONIC technology and the power 6.0 liter V-12, the BMW H2R can achieve top speed of 301.95 meters kilos per hour. The technology used in the vehicle is designed on the basis of petrol-driven power plant 760i. The Powerful V-12 engine in the H2R model can provide power up to 173 kilowatts.
The current generation BMW H2R has the length, width and height of 212.6 inches, 79.1 inches and 52.8 inches respectively. The gross vehicle weight is 1500 kilo grams and has a drag coefficient of 0.21 CW. The aluminum space frame chassis used in the production of the vehicle body does not generate any internal vibrations.
The body of the variant seems almost similar to the formula of 1 style with body and hardened carbon fiber. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilo meters per hour in a time span of just over 6 seconds. Hydrogen fuel liquid used in the first vehicle in its class and helps reduce carbon emissions compared to other vehicles using alternative fuels as gasoline and diesel. The vehicle's maximum power comes from the V-12 engine, support technology and VANOS VALVETRONIC.
