Electric Vehicle question: What is the cost of lead-acid batteries' per mile in an electric car battery?
This is a question for people who own / owned electric vehicles. What brand / model / size batteries does not, and the total cost purchase, and how many miles you get out of batteries? If you divide the total purchase cost of the batteries by the miles, you will get the cost per mile daily battery. David Butcher's Sparrow in the 'net states got nearly 7000 miles for Optima battery pack. In BC, Canada, package Butcher, 13 Optimal cost C $ 4000, and the cost per mile butcher therefore would be 56 cents per mile. In comparison, a I-II electric scooter owner has 6570 miles on batteries revived, and the replacement cost of the pack was C $ 190, with a cost per mile less than 3 cents. I curious as to the amount of electric cars and other scooter owners to achieve, on a cost per mile out of your battery. Thanks in advance for all responses. ————– Well, Optima batteries are expensive. I drive an old Jet Electra Van performed in 1981. I was able to get a good price in the U.S. brand of batteries 6 volt deep cycle (golf cart batteries-style), and the cost of the 17 batteries in my truck is about $ 850 (after subtracting the recycling bins.) * I have not had the package in my car long enough to execute all the way down, but I understand from other users of these batteries, that a lifetime of up to 30,000 miles is possible, if not well cared very deeply satisfied. I'd be surprised who receive less than 20,000 miles of them in light of my trip is very short, and the batteries remain fully charged. * Therefore, using the fewest my battery would cost per mile about 4 cents. From my cost of electricity is less than 1 cent per mile, driving the EV is pretty cheap. Batteries Revived * probably reduce my cost in half! ————
